Strauss: Four Last Songs

Released in 2023, Strauss: Four Last Songs is the second solo album by the American soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen. Presenting works of Richard Strauss' later years, the album pairs the composer's sublime Vier letzte Lieder with the closing scene of his final opera, Capriccio. Coinciding with the album release, Willis-Sørensen marked the latest addition to her gallery of Strauss heroines, with the role debut of Arabella at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
