One Direction collaborated with industry legends like Steve Mac, known for his work with Westlife, JLS, and Leona Lewis, to craft their debut album. The single What Makes You Beautiful was a commercial success reaching number one in several countries. It has been certified quadruple platinum in the US with sales of more than 4.8 million copies.
