Screamadelica (20th Anniversary Edition)
Creative, inspiring and timeless, Screamadelica was originally released back in 1991 on Creation Records and established Primal Scream on the International stage. The band had much of the album already laid down but felt it needed to incorporate a more psychedelic mood reflective of the rising popularity of rave parties and UK dance music. A young Andrew Weatherall was drafted in to add his cosmic touch to the production giving the tracks some of their most memorable characteristics. The band have their own unique sound and energy which is well-established on this album, taking the listener to euphoric highs on Come Together, Movin' On Up and Loaded and tender lows on Damaged and I’m Comin’ Down.
